Zimbabwe's historic handshake raised hopes of a solution to the political crisis. Unfortunately this will be just more of Mugabe's Machiavellian manoeuvres to, 'keep your friends close and your enemies closer.' As I pointed out last week that Mugabe was in fact an extraterretrial, and that he is so ancient, that it wouldn't surprise me if Machiavelli met Mugabe and wrote his famous del Principe based on his encounter. Mugabe's scheming knows no bounds and Morgan Tsvangirai will face even more obstacles to his planned reforms. Mugabe can always turn a face saving gesture into a cruel and sudden victory. Beware 'the Prince.'
I've observed Robert Mugabe since I did a School Project on Africa in 1980, the year he came to power. Over the years his behaviour has insidiously drifted to irrational despotism to such a degree that I declared him as Mr June this year in my Rogues Gallery Calendar. I am now convinced that he is from another World and was banished here. His species feasts on the alpha waves of despair, and he extracts strength from the words of condemnation. If we continue to condemn and isolate him maybe he will achieve enough energy to build a spacecraft to escape from Earth. Unfortunately that may take few hundred years. Not knowing his true lifespan (notice how he never looks any older) I suspect we will be stuck with him for the long term. To counter his escape strategy, I suggest we placate him as much as possible, resume full trade with Zimbabwe and deny him the alpha waves of despair.
